About Us

Our founder and director, Simon Mauger, practiced as a chiropractor for over 15 years! In that time, he worked for a handful of practices before opening his own clinic in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. The business grew steadily through referrals and word-of-mouth, but the digital era was emerging, and Simon was keen to explore its potential in helping his practice.

Armed with his entrepreneurial spirit and self-proclaimed love for all things technology, he trialled various digital methods to support his business. From developing on-hold phone messages to learning about SEO before anyone knew what the acronym meant, he knew that technology was changing the world; and he quickly learned how to maximise it to support his healthcare practice.

Eventually, Simon took the leap from allied health practitioner to full-time digital marketer with the intention of helping other businesses experience the same online success. In 2009, practiceedge was a one-man business. Simon steadily grew his client base by delivering exceptional results.

Over the years, the practiceedge team has grown from one in 2009, to our current team of 27. While best practices have changed and the digital space has evolved, practiceedge remains focused on one thing – helping businesses in the healthcare and medical fields to reach more patients and help more people.
